Children mirror the future of our nation and the world. Any welfare measure benefiting them will benefit generations to come, changing the face of the whole world in the process. Our hopes for a brighter tomorrow are anchored fast to the well being of our children today.

Anti-child-labour actions, child rights awareness programmes, formal and non-formal education initiatives for school dropouts and liberated child labourers, formation and strengthening of Child Rights Groups, campaigns for education for all, etc., are highlighted through the People’s Radio and the whole community is made aware of the rights of children as an integral part of human rights and the welfare of children as the sine qua non of community well-being.

The Radio functions as a platform for the marginalised children of the rural sector to voice their grievances, air their demands, proclaim their rights and campaign for a brighter morrow for themselves and their community.
